Here you are, on the BWBacon website, so it’s just a matter of time before you get a tech job and find yourself working in Denver. Let us be the first to introduce you to some of your new coworkers – probably.
1. The healthy, all-organic one.
They eat kale every day and give you a hard time about using plastic in the microwave. They make their own kombucha. You sometimes find them in the break room, twisted into advanced yoga positions, which they claim helps them to relax.
2. The outdoorsy one.
They’re always talking about their last ski trip or their last off-roading trip or their last camping trip or the last 14er they climbed. They call you dude, whatever your gender. They ride their bike to work through some of the most inclement weather and tell you it’s no big deal.
3. The local musician.
It seems like they always have a new band, though they call them “projects”. Their tattoos are too esoteric for you to understand. They played pinball with Beck’s guitar tech at 1Up Colfax once and now work that into conversation daily.
4. The transplant.
This person is not from Colorado but they’ll be the first to tell you it’s the best place on Earth to live. They may say they miss New York’s pizza or San Diego’s weather or the Mexican food in Texas but they’ve lived in Denver for years and they never see themselves leaving.
5. The sports fan.
Their car is painted orange and dark blue, purple and black, or yellow and sky blue. For them, “casual Friday” means wearing a sports jersey to work. They know the names of the backups of the backups, and they’re always excited about the next sports season that’s about to start.
While meeting any one of these individuals is possible anywhere you go, we think the odds are higher here in Denver. Are you ready to take the next step? Check out these tech jobs in Denver.
