BWBacon Group, a boutique creative and technical staffing firm located in Denver’s vibrant Santa Fe Arts District, is pleased to announce its partnership with Galvinize’s gSchool, a new curriculum program dedicated to teaching next-generation skills such as Ruby on Rails. gSchool focuses on developing student’s competences in areas most important to start-ups: with the first program focused on web development and Ruby, Rails, HTML5, and CSS languages. gSchool is Galvanize’s solution to the tech talent problem, in which startups are experiencing critical difficulty in finding developer talent..
Galvanize is Denver’s new "innovation ecosystem” designed to engage digital entrepreneurs and innovators through venture capital, a startup community, and tailored curriculum teaching skills necessary for digital startups.
BWBacon Group is thrilled to partner and help support gSchool. "This is a just such a natural and complementary fit for us to support gSchool”, said Dave Bacon, founder of BWBacon Group. "If we can help grow Colorado’s most attractive companies by doing what we do best, and at the same time help to support an exceptionally well-educated and new breed of developers from gSchool, then we’re fostering both job fulfillment and competency development in concert. We’re helping to fill jobs through our staffing model and position people for new work with this scholarship partnership - both should exponentially support each other. I think this supports what is a growing national belief – that Colorado is one of the best places to start and grow a business.”
BWBacon Group is a privately-held Colorado company founded in 2001 by Dave Bacon. In 2012 alone, they helped place over 130 of Colorado’s most talented resources into new projects with over 40 Colorado-based companies, in contracts and full-time positions. Through strong relationships with technology and creative leaders, BWBacon has built a strong reputation for smart execution and scalable growth in staffing and works with some of Colorado’s most notable and exciting start-ups.
